To make it possible, for a vehicle outer door handle device capable of driving an outer handle by an actuator to a pop-up position where an operation portion of the outer handle protrudes outward from an outer panel, to shorten the time required for occupant rescue by preventing the operation of the outer handle from becoming difficult during occupant rescue.SOLUTION: In response to an impact detection means 67 detecting an impact of a set value or more being applied to a vehicle from the outside, an operation of an actuator 39 is controlled by a control unit 66, and an outer handle 17 is driven and rotated for causing an operation portion 18a to be at the pop-up position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
【課題】アウトハンドルをその操作部がアウターパネルから外側方に突出するポップアップ位置までアクチュエータで駆動することを可能とした車両用ドアのアウトハンドル装置において、乗員救出時にアウトハンドルの操作が困難となることを防止して乗員救出に要する時間の短縮を可能とする。【解決手段】車両に外部から設定値以上の衝撃が加わったことを衝撃検知手段６７が検知するのに応じて、制御ユニット６６にアクチュエータ３９の作動が制御され、操作部１８ａがポップアップ位置となるようにアウトハンドル１７が回動駆動される。【選択図】 図４
