OUTER HANDLE DEVICE FOR VEHICLE DOOR
To enable insertion guidance and temporary holding for a cylinder lock when attaching the cylinder lock to a handle base and avoid a complex structure regarding an outer handle device for vehicle doors in which: a cylinder lock with a key hole is attached to a handle base so that the key hole faces outside in the operation position for an operation handle and is covered with a handle body in the nonoperation position for the operation handle, and the cylinder lock is attached in a manner of sloping downward or upward as it goes outward in the vehicle width direction; and temporary holding means that temporarily holds the attachment position and stance of the cylinder lock to the handle base is provided between the handle base and cylinder lock.SOLUTION: The outer handle device for vehicle doors is configured so that temporary holding means 54, 55 guide a cylinder lock 23 that is inserted into an insertion hole 37 provided for a handle base 19 so that the cylinder lock 23 is in the attachment stance in the attachment position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
【課題】ハンドルベースに、キー孔を有するシリンダ錠が、操作ハンドルの操作位置ではキー孔を外部に臨ませるものの操作ハンドルの非操作位置ではキー孔がハンドル本体で覆われるようにしつつ車幅方向外方に向かうにつれて下方もしくは上方に傾斜した姿勢で取付けられ、ハンドルベースおよびシリンダ錠間に、ハンドルベースに対するシリンダ錠の取付け位置および取付け姿勢を仮保持する仮保持手段が設けられる車両用ドアのアウトハンドル装置において、シリンダ錠のハンドルベースへの取付け時のシリンダ錠の挿入ガイドならびにシリンダ錠の仮保持を可能としながら構造の複雑化を避ける。【解決手段】仮保持手段５４，５５が、ハンドルベース１９に設けられる挿入孔３７に挿入されたシリンダ錠２３を取付け位置で取付け姿勢となるようにガイドするように構成される。【選択図】 図５
