BATTEN CONNECTING MEMBER AND FITTING
To provide a batten connecting member which can make a clearance inconspicuous when the clearance is formed between battens due to the contraction of the battens, and can improve the design performance of a batten connecting part, and a fitting.SOLUTION: A batten connecting member 60 is arranged at a connecting part in which a header of one batten 40A out of a vertical batten 40B and a horizontal batten 40A is made to abut on a side face of the other batten 40B. The batten connecting member 60 comprises an abutment part 61 abutting on the header 43B of the horizontal batten 40A, a fixed piece part 62 inserted and fixed into a hollow part 435 of one batten 40A, and a coating part 63 for coating a depth face part 43 of the other batten 40B. The coating part 63 comprises an inclination side 635 whose inclination angle with respect to a longitudinal direction of the horizontal batten 40A is 45°. When the battens 40A, 40B are contracted, the coating part 63 functions as a wall part for concealing a clearance which is formed between the battens 40A, 40B.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
