To suppress the elution of boron in a boron-including material by a simple and easy method.SOLUTION: There is provided a boron elution-suppressing method suppressing the elution of boron from a boron-including material in which a boron elution amount is 18 mg/L or less. The method is characterized by satisfying the expression (1): Z≥2.9A-2.9 when adding an SiO-including material to the boron-including material in a temperature state having a liquid phase, and when defining the boron elution amount (unit: mg/L) of the boron-including material as A and defining the addition amount (unit: pts.mass) of SiOincluded in the SiO-including material based on 100 pts.mass of the boron-including material as Z.SELECTED DRAWING: None
