METHOD FOR DETERMINING BORON ELUTION FROM BORON-CONTAINING SUBSTANCE, METHOD FOR SUPPRESSING BORON ELUTION FROM BORON-CONTAINING SUBSTANCE USING THE SAME, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING MATERIAL FOR CIVIL ENGINEERING AND CONSTRUCTION, AND SLAG
To provide a method capable of simply determining or suppressing the elution of a boron from a boron containing substance.SOLUTION: Provided is a method for determining boron elution from a boron-containing substance, comprising: calculating a boron concentration in a liquid phase at a certain prescribed temperature T, at which the boron-containing substance is in a solid-liquid coexistence state, by an equilibrium calculation based on the composition of the boron-containing substance; and determining the boron concentration as acceptable when it is equal to or lower than a prescribed threshold value C, and as unacceptable when it exceeds the threshold value C. Also provided is a method for suppressing boron elution from the boron-containing substance, comprising: adding a modifier to the boron-containing substance, determined as unacceptable in the determination method, in a state where its temperature is equal to or higher than the prescribed temperature to make the boron concentration in a liquid phase at the prescribed temperature T, calculated by the equilibrium calculation, equal to or lower than the threshold value C; and pouring the boron-containing substance in a thin layer to cool the same so that a cooling rate from the prescribed temperature T to 1000°C at a center part in the thickness direction of the thin layer becomes 10°C/min or more.SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】ホウ素含有物質からのホウ素の溶出を、簡便に判定ないし抑制できる方法を提供する。【解決手段】ホウ素含有物質の組成に基づく平衡計算により、該ホウ素含有物質が固液共存状態にある所定温度Ｔでの液相中のホウ素濃度を算出すること、及び前記ホウ素濃度が所定の閾値Ｃ以下の場合に合格と判定し、該閾値Ｃを超える場合に不合格と判定することを含む、ホウ素含有物質のホウ素溶出判定方法、並びに該判定方法で不合格と判定されたホウ素含有物質に、前記所定温度Ｔ以上にある状態で改質材を添加して、前記平衡計算で算出される前記所定温度Ｔでの液相中のホウ素濃度を、前記閾値Ｃ以下とすること、及び前記ホウ素含有物質を薄層状に流し込み、該薄層の厚み方向中央部における冷却速度が、前記所定温度Ｔから１０００℃まで、１０℃／ｍｉｎ以上となるように冷却することを含む、ホウ素含有物質からのホウ素溶出抑制方法を採用する。【選択図】 なし
