JOINING STRUCTURE AND JOINING METHOD FOR SQUARE STEEL PIPE COLUMN
To provide a joining structure and a joining method of a square steel pipe column capable of smoothly transmitting stress and moment and suppressing damage by local stress and moment when a screw type mechanical joint is used for joining the square steel pipe column.SOLUTION: In a joint structure of a square steel pipe column, a cylindrical shape part having a square outer periphery and a female screw part on an inner surface is provided at a joint end part of one square steel pipe column of a pair of square cross-section steel pipe columns to be joined; a cylindrical shape part having a square inner periphery and a male screw part on an outer surface is provided at a joint end part of the other square steel pipe column; the female screw part and the male screw part are threadedly engaged with each other, whereby the square steel pipe column of one side and the square steel pipe column of the other side are joined to each other; the ratio B/t of a width B and a thickness t in a cross section of the part where the female screw part and the male screw part are screwed is equal to or less than 5.7.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】角形鋼管柱の接合にねじ式機械式継手を用いる場合に、応力やモーメントが円滑に伝達できるとともに、局所的な応力やモーメントによって損傷することを抑止できる角形鋼管柱の接合構造および接合方法を提供する。【解決手段】接合する一組の正方形断面の角形鋼管柱のうち、一方の角形鋼管柱の接合端部に、外周が正方形で内面に雌ねじ部を有する筒型形状部を備え、他方の角形鋼管柱の接合端部に、内周が正方形で外面に雄ねじ部を有する筒型形状部を備え、前記雌ねじ部と前記雄ねじ部とが螺合していることで、前記一方の角形鋼管柱と前記他方の角形鋼管柱とが接合しているとともに、前記雌ねじ部と前記雄ねじ部とが螺合している個所の横断面における幅Bと厚さtとの比B/tが5.7以下であることを特徴とする角形鋼管柱の接合構造。【選択図】図1
