JOINING STRUCTURE OF STEEL PIPE COLUMN
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joining structure of a steel pipe column which dispenses with welding work, is excellent in processability, and can sufficiently withstand a compression force.SOLUTION: In a joining structure of a steel pipe column for joining the steel pipe columns 3 to up-and-down directions, each of the steel pipe columns 3 comprises a diameter-contracted part 11 which is formed at an upper part, and gradually contracted in a diameter toward an upper end, a diameter-expanded part 12 which is formed at a lower part, and gradually expanded in a diameter toward a lower end, and a ring-shaped member 13 which is arranged at a lower part of the diameter-contracted part 11 being an external peripheral face of the steel pipe column 3. When the diameter-contracted part 11 of the lower steel pipe column 3 is inserted into the diameter-expanded part 12 of the upper steel pipe column 3, a lower end face of the upper steel pipe column 3 abuts on the ring-shaped member 13.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
