To improve fire prevention performance in a renovating fitting.SOLUTION: A renovating fitting includes a new frame attached to an existing frame remaining in a skeleton opening, and a flame shielding plate for closing a space between the skeleton opening and the new frame. The flame shielding plate has a flame shielding part abutting on the indoor side part of the new frame and an abutting part abutting on the inner peripheral surface of the skeleton opening, and is fixed to at least the skeleton opening or the existing frame.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
