To impart fire prevention performance to an existing band window.SOLUTION: A fireproof renovating fitting, which includes a support steel member, a rock wool part, and a new vertical frame, is attached to a skeleton opening section having an existing vertical frame connected via an existing mullion. The support steel member is arranged on the outdoor side of the existing mullion, the upper and lower parts are fixed to the skeleton opening section, the rock wool part is supported on the outdoor side of the support steel member so as to cover the support steel member, and the new vertical frame is arranged on the inner peripheral side of an existing vertical frame.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
