BUCKLING CONSTRAINT BRACE
To provide a buckling constraint brace that is preferable to build in a frame of wooden building and be used and that can eliminate the breakdown by acting additional flexural moment to a wooden constraint material when the frame being largely deformed in large earthquake.SOLUTION: A buckling constraint brace 100 is provided with a steel core material 10 and a wooden constraint material 20 formed by a pair of wooden constraint plates 21 and a pair of wooden side plates 22. In the buckling constraint brace 100, reinforcement ribs 14 are attached at a wide width face of the end of longitudinal direction of the core material 10 to exhibit a cross-shaped cross section, slits 24 not interfering the reinforcement rib 14 are provided at the position corresponding to the reinforcement rib 14 within the wooden constraint material 20, and the core material 10 has a narrow width part 13 at the center side of longitudinal direction, has wide width parts 12 at the end sides of longitudinal direction and has clearances G1 between side faces of the wide width parts 12 of the core material 10 and the side plates 22.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
【課題】木造建築物の架構内に組み込んで使用するのに好適であり、大地震時に架構が大きく変形し、付加曲げモーメントが木製拘束材に作用して破損することを解消できる座屈拘束ブレースを提供する。【解決手段】鋼製の芯材10と、木製で一対の拘束板21と一対の側板22とにより形成される木製拘束材20と、を備えた座屈拘束ブレース100において、芯材10の長手方向の端部の広幅面には補強リブ14が接合されて断面十字状を呈し、木製拘束材20のうち補強リブ14に対応する位置には補強リブ14に干渉しないスリット24が設けられ、芯材10はその長手方向の中央側において狭幅部13を有し、その長手方向の端部側において広幅部12を有し、芯材10の広幅部12の側面と側板22の間に隙間G1を有している。【選択図】図3
