BUCKLING RESTRAINT BRACE, FRAMEWORK INCLUDING THE BUCKLING RESTRAINT BRACE
To provide a buckling restraint brace capable of maintaining a binding force even when being deformed while preventing the core from breaking the wooden buckling restraint when deformed, and a framework including the buckling restraint brace.SOLUTION: A disclosed a buckling restraint brace 1 is a buckling restraint brace 1 that includes: a steel core 3; a wooden buckling restraint 5 arranged to enclose the circumference of the core 3; and a penetration prevention plate 6 that is interposed between the buckling restraint material 5 and the core 3 to prevent the core 3 from penetrating the buckling restraint 5. The core 3 consists of a sheet steel or an open section member made by combining multiple steel plates. The buckling restraint 5 consists of a pair of members arranged and joined so as to sandwich the core 3 and has grooves 15 of a shape that allows the core 3 and the penetration prevention plate 6 to be placed on the joint surface of each member.
