ENTRY SUPPORT DEVICE AND METHOD
To provide an entry support device and method in which a driver can visually confirm a current position of a driver's self vehicle with respect to a prescribed position (an optimum position) in an area where each vehicle can enter and a protruding portion of the self vehicle from the prescribed position.SOLUTION: An entry support device comprises: an area A which is provided in an entry room 8 of a mechanical parking device 100 and in which a vehicle 1 can enter; a camera 12; a storage device 14; an image processing device 16; and a display device 18. The camera 12 photographs an actual image of the vehicle 1 entering the area A in which the vehicle 1 can enter in real time. The storage device 14 stores a silhouette image of the vehicle 1 positioned at a prescribed position (an optimum position) in the area A in which the vehicle 1 can enter. The image processing device 16 forms a synthetic image in which the actual image by the camera 12 is overlapped with the silhouette image. The display device 18 is provided at a position where a driver of the vehicle 1 can visually confirm the same and displays the synthetic image.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】運転者が車両毎の入庫可能範囲内の所定位置（最適位置）に対する自車の現在位置を目視で確認することができ、かつ所定位置からの自車のはみ出し部を目視で確認することができる入庫支援装置と方法を提供する。【解決手段】機械式駐車装置１００の入庫室８に設けられた車両１の入庫可能範囲Ａと、カメラ１２、記憶装置１４、画像処理装置１６、及びディスプレイ装置１８を備える。カメラ１２は、入庫可能範囲Ａへ進入する車両１の実画像をリアルタイムに撮影する。記憶装置１４は、入庫可能範囲Ａ内の所定位置（最適位置）に位置する車両１のシルエット画像を記憶する。画像処理装置１６は、カメラ１２による実画像にシルエット画像をオーバラップした合成画像を作成する。ディスプレイ装置１８は、車両１の運転者が視認できる位置に設けられ合成画像を表示する。【選択図】図２
