To enable electric appliances provided at a shared area of a housing complex to be remotely operable by using an entrance unit and also be easily adapted if a new electric appliance is added or a position of the electric appliance is changed, focusing on a fact that the entrance unit should be provided at each dwelling unit of the housing complex.SOLUTION: An entrance unit 1 comprises: a unit attachment 2 fixed on a wall 92 next to an entrance door 91 of a dwelling unit of a housing complex; a unit cover 3 attachably/detachably attached to the unit attachment 2; and a first attachment base 4 where a smart remote controller 81 having an opening 42 for a remote controller from which an infrared communication part 82 of the smart remote controller 81 is exposed is attached on the unit cover 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
