To improve a fixing force and stability of a clamp device that grips an open end of a tubular body, and to reduce the weight and simplify the structure of it.SOLUTION: The clamp device (10) is a clamp device for gripping an open end of a tubular body (P), and comprises a first sandwiching mechanism (11) for sandwiching a sidewall (SW) of the open end from an inside and an outside, similarly, a second sandwiching mechanism (12) for sandwiching the side wall from the inside and the outside, and an abutting member (13, 14) that is fixedly connected to the first sandwiching mechanism and the second sandwiching mechanism and that abuts on the end surface of the open end to stabilize the posture. As a sandwiching mechanism for sandwiching the side wall of the open end from both inside and outside, the second sandwiching mechanism is arranged next to the first sandwiching mechanism along the circumference of the open end in one direction (for example, CCW). Following the same direction (CCW), the first sandwiching mechanism, the abutting member, and the second sandwiching mechanism are arranged in this order.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
