ELECTRIC HEATING-TYPE CARRIER, EXHAUST GAS-PURIFYING DEVICE, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING ELECTRIC HEATING-TYPE CARRIER, CONJUGATE, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING CONJUGATE
To provide an electric heating-type carrier excellent in joint reliability of a metal terminal and a honeycomb structure, and to provide an exhaust gas-purifying device, a method for manufacturing the electric heating-type carrier, a conjugate, and a method for producing the conjugate.SOLUTION: An electric heating-type carrier includes a conductive honeycomb structure and a pair of metal terminals, wherein: the honeycomb structure includes a columnar honeycomb structure part that consists of a conductive ceramics having an outer peripheral wall and porous partition walls arranged inside the outer peripheral wall and partitioning a plurality of cells forming flow passages by penetrating from one end surface to the other end surface; and the pair of metal terminals are arranged facing each other while sandwiching a center axis of the columnar honeycomb structure and are joined to a surface of the honeycomb structure through a welded portion to go along the shape of the surface of the honeycomb structure.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
