LID BODY FOR UNDERGROUND EMBEDDED STEEL PIPE, UNDERGROUND EMBEDDED STEEL PIPE, AND JOINT MEMBER
To provide a lid body for underground embedded steel pipes that can cover an opening on the tip surface of a steel pipe in an embedded direction by using a simple structure, and for which heat deformation is unlikely to occur with the lid body that covers the tip of a steel pipe.SOLUTION: A lid body 3 for underground embedded steel pipes, which is provided at an end of a steel pipe body that is embedded underground, comprises: a bottom surface part 31 that is in the same shape as an end surface of the steel pipe body, and that covers an opening on the end surface of the steel pipe body; and sliding contact parts 32 that are raised along the outer periphery of the bottom surface part 31 in the direction perpendicular to the bottom surface part.
