LID BODY FOR UNDERGROUND EMBEDDED STEEL PIPE, UNDERGROUND EMBEDDED STEEL PIPE, AND JOINT MEMBER
To provide a lid body for underground embedded steel pipes that can cover an opening on a tip surface of a steel pipe in an embedded direction using a simple structure, and that can handle the opening dimensions of a steel pipe body.SOLUTION: A lid body 3 for underground embedded steel pipes, which is provided at an end of a steel pipe body 2 that is embedded underground, comprises: a bottom surface part 31 that is in the same shape as an end surface of the steel pipe body 2, and that covers an opening on the end surface of the steel pipe body 2; a rib-like part 32 that is provided on a surface, of the bottom surface part 31, that faces on the steel pipe body 2 side, inserted in a position of the maximum dimension of the opening on the end surface of the steel pipe body 2, and has a dimension that is longer than the maximum dimension of the opening. A center section of the rib-like part 32 is joined to the bottom surface part 31, and an end of the rib-like part 32 is a free end that is not joined to the bottom surface part 31.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
