To achieve downsizing by shortening a length from a tip to a rear end of a grip part.SOLUTION: In a portable lock/unlock display device, a trigger portion and a slider portion are incorporated in a case-shaped grip part having a display window for selectively displaying either lock or unlock information. Also, a drive piece energized by energization means in a direction in which the trigger portion constantly protrudes from the grip part, a display piece supported so as to rotate within the grip part by a required amount and having an indicator, and a movable obstacle for display switching that engages with/disengages from the slider portion are respectively incorporated. When the drive piece retreats into the grip part, a movement of the drive piece is transferred to the display piece as a rotational movement via a conversion mechanism, and at least the indicator of the display piece is switched from an unlock state to a lock state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
