To provide a vehicle locking device capable of facilitating the operation of inserting/pulling out a cable from/into a connector.SOLUTION: A vehicle hood locking device 100 comprises: a base 1 having a plate-like base part 10; a latch 2 rotatably attached to the base part of the base 1; and a switch 7 for detecting the binding position X and the releasing position Y of the latch 2. The switch 7 has a connector 70 to which a cable 900 for transmitting a detection signal is connected. The switch 7 is attached to the outer edge of the base 1, and installed at a position where at least the connector 70 does not overlap the base 1 when seen in the plate thickness direction of the base part 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
