To provide a driving support device for improving safety of a tailgating driving victim.SOLUTION: A driving support device 10, including a tailgating driving detection unit 11 for detecting damage or damage caused by tailgating driving, a vehicle stop detection unit 12 for detecting stopping of a vehicle, and a locking control unit 14 for locking a door 17 of the vehicle, is configured such that the locking control unit 14 has an automatic locking function for locking the door 17 when the tailgating driving detection unit 11 detects damage or damage caused by a tailgating driving and concurrently when the stop detection unit 12 detects stopping of the vehicle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
