To provide a building having expandability capable of safely extending in the upstairs direction in the future, its construction method, a main structure of a skeleton of the building, its construction method, and its extension method in the upstairs direction.SOLUTION: A building 2 comprises: a column-beam part 10 which constitutes a first building part A as an original building, and includes a plurality of steel columns 101 and a plurality of steel beams 102 erected between the columns 101; a foundation part 11 to which the columns 101 are connected and which has a strength capable of supporting both the column-beam part 10 and a column-beam part of a second building part which is an extension building of the first building part A to the upper floors; an extension connecting part 12 which is provided on an upper part of the column-beam part 10 of the first building part A and capable of connecting a column-beam constituting material of the second building part; an occultation part 13 for internally occulting the extension connecting part 12; a floor part 22 which is at least provided on the foundation part 11; an outer wall part 21 which is provided on a side part of the column-beam part 10; and a roof structure part 23 which is provided on the upper part of the column-beam part 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
