To provide a lock/unlock control system for buildings that is a system for which authorized persons other than residents can enter a building, and that can improve security for residents in a building.SOLUTION: A house 10 includes an entrance hall 13, a living, dining, and kitchen room set 14, and a switch room 16. An entrance door 22 is provided with an entrance locking device 31. An LD door 26 between the entrance hall 13 and the living, dining, and kitchen room set 14 is provided with an LD locking device 33. An SR door 28 between the entrance hall 13 and the switch room 16 is provided with an SR locking device 34. In a care mode, when a controller 40 determines that an unlock request is issued by a first visitor X being authenticated, the entrance locking device 31 is unlocked on condition that there is neither care targets T nor care receiver R in the entrance hall 13 and that the LD locking device 33 and the SR locking device 34 are in a locked state.
