VIBRATION DAMPING DEVICE FOR BUILDING
To provide a vibration damping device for buildings which is advantageous for suppressing locking vibration.SOLUTION: When an earthquake is detected, a rotation control unit 36 supplies electric power from a power supply unit 34 to a spin motor 28 to rotate a flywheel 26 and a rotating shaft 24. Therefore, a vibration damping effect is exhibited by suppressing a shaking of a high-rise building 10, due to a gyro effect of the flywheel 26 and the rotating shaft 24. For example, even in the slender high-rise building 10 having an aspect ratio of 4 or more, rocking vibration can be suppressed, the high-rise building 10 is suppressed from rising from the ground G, and it is advantageous in preventing damage to the high-rise building 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】ロッキング振動の抑制を図る上で有利な建築物の制振装置を提供する。【解決手段】地震発生が検知されると、回転制御部36により電力供給部34からスピンモータ28に電力を供給してフライホイール26および回転軸24を回転させるため、フライホイール26および回転軸24のジャイロ効果により高層建築物10の揺れを抑制して制振効果が発揮される。例えば塔状比が4以上の細長い高層建築物10であっても、ロッキング振動を抑制でき、高層建築物10が地盤Gから浮き上がることを抑制し、高層建築物10の損傷を防止する上で有利となる。【選択図】図1
