VIBRATION DAMPING BUILDING
To realize, with a simple configuration, a structure in which the shear force borne by the boundary beam can be smoothly transmitted to the continuous shear wall.SOLUTION: The vibration damping is provided with a continuous shear wall 30 over a plurality of floors, including a first wall pillar 31 and a second wall pillar 32 arranged in the same plane, and a first boundary beam 35 made of steel that connects the first wall pillar 31 and the second wall pillar 32. The first boundary beam 35 has an H-shaped beam end portion 50 when viewed in longitudinal section. A vibration energy absorbing portion 37 is provided at the center of the beam in the material axis direction X. Each of the beam end portions 50 is buried in the first wall pillar 31 and the second wall pillar 32. A horizontal rib reinforcing material 56 is provided in the buried portion of one or both of the beam end portions 50 so as to extend horizontally on the beam side surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
