To accurately monitor the entire behavior of the ground including the surroundings of an excavation region throughout periods for pit excavation/earth-retaining work.SOLUTION: The measurement system comprises: a slope angle information acquisition unit that acquires information representing a slope angle of core materials that is measured using a first slope angle detection unit composed of a plurality of slope angle detection parts attached to a core material at a predetermined first interval and in a longitudinal direction, and acquires information representing a slope angle of core materials that is measured using a second slope angle detection unit composed of a plurality of slope angle detection parts attached to a core material at a predetermined second interval and in a horizontal direction that is perpendicular to the longitudinal direction, for an earth-retaining wall configured using core materials that are long with respect to an excavation direction that is the vertical direction; and an output unit that outputs information representing first relative displacement based on the information representing the slope angle acquired by the first slope angle detection unit, and information representing second relative displacement based on the information representing the slope angle acquired by the second slope angle detection unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
