To prevent a liquid from remaining in a mixture while employing isostatic pressing.SOLUTION: A method for producing a ceramic body sequentially includes: preparing a mixture comprising a powder of a formation material containing a main component of the ceramic body and a liquid for partially melting the powder of the formation material; covering the surrounding of the mixture at least partially with an absorbent material having liquid absorbency; and solidifying the mixture covered with the absorbent material by subjecting the mixture to isostatic pressing while heating the mixture, to form the ceramic body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】等方加圧を採用しつつ、混合物における液体の残存を抑制する。【解決手段】セラミックス体の製造方法では、セラミックス体の主成分を含む形成材料の粉末と、形成材料の粉末の一部を溶解させる液体と、を含む混合物を作製する。次に、混合物の周囲の少なくとも一部を、液体の吸収性を有する吸収材料によって覆う。次に、吸収材料に覆われた混合物に対して、加熱しつつ等方加圧を行うことにより固化させてセラミックス体を形成する。【選択図】図１
