To provide an electronic component housing case that can be easily opened even in the case of using a plurality of types of coins having different thickness dimensions.SOLUTION: An electronic component housing case 10 comprises: an engagement part that combines a first case member 11 with a second case member 12 in a separable manner; and a coin insertion part 20 into which a plurality of types of coins having different thickness dimensions can be inserted, the coin insertion part formed by denting a side surface of the first case member or the second case member or side surfaces of both members. The coin insertion part includes at least a first insertion part 21 provided on an entrance side of the coin insertion part and a second insertion part 22 that communicates with the first insertion part and is provided on a deeper side compared with the first insertion part. A width dimension of a connection part 202 connecting the first insertion part with the second insertion part is smaller than a width dimension of an entrance 201 of the coin insertion part.
