To provide an electronic key housing case capable of preventing a vehicle from being unlocked illegally and an engine from being started illegally by housing an electronic key of the vehicle within a vehicle cabin.SOLUTION: An electronic key housing case 30 comprises: an actuator 40 which can operate an operation button for locking and unlocking an electronic key; a communication interruption part 60 which interrupts communication between the electronic key and an in-vehicle device; a wireless communication part 54 which performs wireless communication with a portable wireless communication terminal; and a control part 52. The control part operates the communication interruption part to interrupt communication between the electronic key and the in-vehicle device when the wireless communication terminal is outside the vehicle, and stops the operation of the communication interruption part when the wireless communication terminal is inside a vehicle cabin. Also, the control part drives the actuator to operate the operation button for unlocking when the wireless communication terminal is outside the vehicle and positioned within a prescribed range where a door can be opened and closed manually.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
【課題】車両の電子キーを車室内に収納することにより、車両が不正に解錠されて、エンジンが不正に始動されるのを抑制できる、電子キー収納ケースを提供する。【解決手段】電子キー収納ケース３０は、電子キーの施錠・解錠用の操作ボタンを操作可能なアクチュエータ４０と、電子キーと車載機との間の通信を遮断する通信遮断部６０と、携帯型の無線通信端末との間で無線通信を行う無線通信部５４と、制御部５２を備える。制御部は、無線通信端末が車両外部にある場合には、通信遮断部を動作させて電子キーと車載機との間の通信を遮断し、無線通信端末が車室内にある場合には、通信遮断部の動作を停止させる。また、制御部は、無線通信端末が車両外部で、ドアを手動で開閉可能な所定範囲内に位置する場合、アクチュエータを駆動して解錠用の操作ボタンを操作させる。【選択図】図５
