JOINT COVER MEMBER AND JOINT REPAIR METHOD USING JOINT COVER MEMBER
To provide a joint cover member having high durability, which can easily repair a joint without replacing an old joint material, and to provide a joint repair method using the joint cover member.SOLUTION: There is provided a joint cover member 5 used for repairing a joint 4 filled with a rubber-like joint material 41 between a convex portion 21 of a hat joiner 2 fixed to a furring strip 11 of a building frame 1 and an end portion of an outer wall plate 3 fixed to the furring strip with end portions 31 facing each other across the convex portion. The joint cover member includes a pair of circumscribed flange portions 511 that are in contact with an outer surface 311 of the end portion of the outer wall plate, a cover body 51 having a joint facing portion 512 formed between the circumscribed flange portions and facing the joint material at a distance from each other, and an elastic body 52 that is joined to a back surface of the cover body and comes into contact with the front surface of the joint material and the end portion of the outer wall plate. The cover body is fastened to the hat joiner via a screw member 6 inserted from the outer surface of the joint facing portion and engaged with the convex portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】古い目地材を交換することなく簡単に目地を補修できて、耐久性の高い目地カバー部材を提供すること、及び当該目地カバー部材を用いた目地補修方法を提供する。【解決手段】建物躯体１の胴縁材１１に固定されたハットジョイナー２の凸部２１と、当該凸部を挟んで端部３１同士を対向させて胴縁材に固定された外壁板３の端部との隙間に、ゴム状の目地材４１が充填されている目地４の補修に用いる目地カバー部材５である。目地カバー部材には、外壁板の端部外表面３１１にそれぞれ当接する一対の外接フランジ部５１１と、当該外接フランジ部同士の間に形成され目地材と離間して対向する目地対向部５１２とを有するカバー体５１と、カバー体の裏面に接合され目地材の表面と外壁板の端部とに当接する弾性体５２とを備えた。カバー体は、目地対向部の外表面から挿入され凸部に係合されたネジ部材６を介して、ハットジョイナーに締結されている。【選択図】図１
