DISASTER PREDICTION DEVICE, AND DISASTER PREDICTION SYSTEM UTILIZING DISASTER PREDICTION DEVICE
To provide a disaster prediction device and a disaster prediction system capable of predicting and warning a disaster at low cost and securely.SOLUTION: A disaster prediction device 1 can detect a sign of a sediment disaster such as a slope collapse (a landslide, a mudslide) and a boulder flow in advance from a situation of a rapid increase of water level generated by a heavy rain and the like in an irrigation channel, a side gutter and the like. The disaster prediction device comprises: a cylindrical body 5 which comprises a lid 3 and inside which a distance sensor 4 is installed; a fixing member 6 for fixing the cylindrical body to a side wall; a floating sphere 7 comprising an outer diameter which allows insertion into an inside of the cylindrical body; and a doughnut-shaped floating body receiving member 8 supporting the floating sphere.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
