To provide a new damper device that can effectively exhibit vibration control performance, and can be arranged in an existing water storage tank.SOLUTION: A cylinder side fixing piece 13 to which a horizontal reinforcing member 2, etc. are fixed is formed in a cylinder 12. A piston side fixing piece 39 to which inclined reinforcing members 3 and 4 are fixed is formed in a piston rod 29 fixed to a piston body 25. When the horizontal reinforcing member 2 and the inclined reinforcing members 3 and 4 are mutually pulled or compressed, liquid in a vibration control water storage tank 1 flows into a concave part 12a formed in the cylinder 12 via an opening 12e, etc., or the liquid in the concave part 12a flows out into the vibration control water storage tank 1 from the inside of the concave part 12a via the opening 12e, etc.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
