FIRE PROTECTION STRUCTURE OF STILE-AND-RAIL DOOR
To prevent fire from escaping in the event of a fire in a stile-and-rail door equipped with a lock, and to improve fire protection and flame shielding performance.SOLUTION: In a stile-and-rail door 10, in which a mirror plate 15 is fixed inside a frame made up of vertical stiles 11, 12 and horizontal rails 13, 14, a thermal expansion material 24 is provided from a bottom 21a of a lock body housing hole 21 that opens towards a prospective surface of the vertical frame to an inner surface 23a of a through hole 23 that penetrates the front and back of the vertical stile, and further thermal expansion materials 25, 26 are provided on a top surface 23b and an outer surface 23c of the through hole, respectively. These thermal expansion materials expand when heated during a fire, blocking gaps that allow flames and smoke to pass through, and slowing down the spread of fire, thereby providing effects of improving fire protection and flame shielding performance.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】錠前を取り付けた框組みドアにおいて火災時に火が燃え抜けてしまうことを防止し、防火性能ないし遮炎性能を向上させる。【解決手段】縦框11,12および横框13,14からなる枠体内に鏡板15が固定されてなる框組みドア10において、縦框の見込面に開口する錠本体収容穴21の底部21aから縦框の表裏に貫通する貫通穴23の内側面23aにかけて熱膨張材24が設けられ、さらに、貫通穴の上面23bおよび外側面23cにもそれぞれ熱膨張材25,26が設けられる。これらの熱膨張材は、火災時に加熱されると膨張して、火炎や煙の通り道となる隙間を塞ぎ、火の回りを遅くして、防火性能ないし遮炎性能を向上させる効果がある。【選択図】図2
