To provide a roof material capable of improving negative pressure resistance performance.SOLUTION: A roof material 10 comprises: a rectangular plate part 11; an engaging part 12 provided at one end along an eaves ridge direction X of the plate part 11; and an engaged part 13 provided at the other end along the eaves ridge direction X. A rib part 14 along the eaves ridge direction X is provided between the engaging part 12 and the engaged part 13 in the plate part 11.
