To obtain a water stop equipped shutter having a novel configuration with less inconvenience, for example, and a method for setting a lower limit position of the water stop equipped shutter.SOLUTION: A water stop equipped shutter includes, for example, a shutter curtain that opens and closes a building opening by moving in the vertical direction; a water stop that is located below the shutter curtain and is movable in the vertical direction in conjunction with the shutter curtain to prevent water from entering through the building opening in a closed state in which it is in contact with an installation surface of the building opening; a hanging mechanism having a first member connected to the shutter curtain and a second member connected to the water stop, in which the hanging mechanism is in a hanging state where the shutter curtain hangs the water stop via the first member and the second member, in an open state where the water stop is separated from the installation surface, and is in a released state where the hanging of the water stop via the first member and the second member by the shutter curtain is released, in the closed state; and an indicator that indicates a lower limit position of the water stop in the released state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
