To provide a pipe renewal construction method capable of minimizing demolition of an architectural structure in pipe renewal, and dispensing with special consideration in construction at the time of pipe renewal.SOLUTION: A pipe renewal method for renewing an existing pipe Po covered with a tubular protective material G to a new pipe Pn, comprises an existing pipe division step of dividing the existing pipe Po into a plurality of cut pieces Ps by cutting the existing pipe in a radial direction and a pipe axial direction, and a new pipe insertion step of passing the new pipe Pn through the inside of the protective material G and the existing pipe Po along an inner peripheral surface of the existing pipe Po without removing the protective material G and the existing pipe Po from an installation target of the existing pipe Po.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
【課題】配管の更新に当たって、建築物の解体を極力不要とし、また、配管新設時の施工に格段の配慮が不要な配管更新工法を提供する。【解決手段】管状の保護材Ｇにより覆われた既設配管Ｐｏを新配管Ｐｎに更新する際の、配管の更新工法であって、前記既設配管Ｐｏを径方向及び管軸方向に切断することにより、複数の切断片Ｐｓに分割する既設配管分割工程と、前記既設配管Ｐｏの設置対象物から前記保護材Ｇ及び前記既設配管Ｐｏを取り外さない状態で、前記新配管Ｐｎを、前記既設配管Ｐｏの内周面に沿わせつつ前記保護材Ｇ及び前記既設配管Ｐｏの内部に通す新配管挿入工程と、を含むことを特徴とする配管更新工法である。【選択図】 図６
