To provide a novel glaze-polished ceramic, a surface of which has a desired glossy feeling and is hard to get scratched.SOLUTION: A glaze-polished ceramic 10 in a first embodiment includes a basic material 12 and a translucent glaze layer 14. The basic material 12 consists of ceramics. The translucent glaze layer 14 is formed on a surface of the basic material 12. A surface of the translucent glaze layer 14 has glossiness of 15-35. The surface of the translucent glaze layer 14 has a glossy surface area of 10-50%. A glaze-polished ceramic in a second embodiment has the translucent glaze layer 14 having thickness of 40-120 μm in a first embodiment.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
