To provide an attaching metal fitting capable of fixing a roof material to a substrate directly or indirectly without using a machine screw etc.SOLUTION: An attaching metal fitting 1 attaches one roof material 3 which comprises an engaging portion 33 having a bent portion 35 and an opening 36 at one end portion and an engaged portion 34 having a bent portion 35 with a shape hooked to the bent portion 35 of the engaging portion 33 and an opening 36 at the other end portion, and the other roof material 4, to a substrate 5. The attaching metal fitting 1 comprises: an insertion portion 11 inserted into an opening 46 of an engaged portion 44; a fixing portion 12 fixing the attaching metal fitting 1 to the substrate 5 directly or indirectly; and a claw 13 formed in the insertion portion 11, hooked to a bent portion 45 of the engaged portion 44, and holding the roof material 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
