【課題】 質感に優れたかつ清掃性にも優れたマット調の釉薬層を備えた衛生陶器の提供。【解決手段】 陶器素地と、表面に釉薬層とを備えてなる衛生陶器であって、前記表面の６０°光沢度が２０以上５０未満であり、 ＪＩＳ Ｂ０６０１（２００１）で規定されるＲｚおよびＲｓｋが、ＪＩＳ Ｂ０６３３（２００１）で規定された条件で測定したとき、１．４０μｍ≦Ｒｚ＜２．４０μｍ、−１．１４＜Ｒｓｋ＜０．４０であり、ＩＳＯ ２５１７８−２（２０１２）で規定される最大谷深さＳｖが、ＩＳＯ ２５１７８−３（２０１２）で規定された条件で測定したとき、１．０μｍ＜Ｓｖ＜４．０μｍである衛生陶器は、優れたマット調でありながら、その清掃性にも優れる。【選択図】 なし
