To provide a heat insulation material and a fitting which can achieve more excellent heat insulation performance.SOLUTION: A fitting provided on an opening part of a room has a fitting frame, an outside member provided on the fitting frame so as to face outside the room, and a heat insulation material provided on the fitting frame so as to face the outside member, and is provided with an air layer surrounded by the fitting frame, the outside member and the heat insulation material. The heat insulation material is formed by laminating a heat insulation layer containing a silica xerogel and fibers, a joint layer containing a film, and a surface decoration layer containing fibers in this order.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
