To provide a woodgrain tone decorative material having an appearance and a tactile feeling closer to a natural wood plate, in a decorative material having a woodgrain pattern including a vessel groove part, and a building material obtained by adhering the woodgrain tone decorative material onto an adherent.SOLUTION: A woodgrain tone decorative material 10 includes a base material 1, a design pattern layer 3 and a vessel-like ridge part 2. The woodgrain tone decorative material includes the vessel-like ridge part at least partially on a surface thereof. The design pattern layer has a woodgrain pattern including the vessel groove part.
