To provide a heat exchanger of high heat exchange efficiency, hardly broken even when a large temperature difference is found between a part where a catalyst is supported and a part where an exhaust gas is circulated, in being used as a reforming catalyst.SOLUTION: A heat exchanger is constituted by combining a first honeycomb structure formed by connecting a plurality of honeycomb segments which are made of ceramics and in which a number of cells applied as a first circulation passage of a fluid are arranged in parallel in a longitudinal direction through partitions, through adhesive layers, and a second honeycomb structure formed by connecting a plurality of ceramic honeycomb segments which are made of ceramics and in which a number of cells applied as a second circulation passage of the fluid are arranged in parallel in a longitudinal direction through partitions, through adhesive layers, in a manner that the first circulation passage and the second circulation passage intersect.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】 改質触媒として使用する際、触媒が担持された部分と排ガスが流通する部分との間に、大きな温度差が発生した場合であっても、破壊等が発生しにくく、熱交換効率の高い熱交換器を提供する。【解決手段】 流体の第1流通路となる多数のセルが隔壁を隔てて長手方向に並設されたセラミック製のハニカムセグメントが接着層を介して複数結合された第1のハニカム構造体と、流体の第2流通路となる多数のセルが隔壁を隔てて長手方向に並設されたセラミック製のハニカムセグメントが接着層を介して複数結合された第2のハニカム構造体とが、前記第1流通路と前記第2流通路とが交差するように組み合わされてなることを特徴とする熱交換器。【選択図】 図2
