VEHICLE DOOR STOP DEVICE
To provide a vehicle door stop device which allows a user to easily perform an operation for stopping a vehicle door at an arbitrary position.SOLUTION: A stop device 40 comprises: a drum 210 which rotates in a first rotation direction when a back door is opened, and rotates in a second rotation direction when the back door is closed; a lock member 420 which changes its position between a lock position for restricting the rotation in the first rotation direction of the drum 210 and an unlock position for allowing the rotation in the first rotation direction of the drum 210; and a switching mechanism 500 which switches the position of the lock member 420 from the unlock position to the lock position when the switching operation is performed under such a situation that the lock member 420 is arranged at the unlock position, and does not switch the position of the lock member 420 from the lock position when the switching operation is performed in such a situation that the lock member 420 is arranged at the lock position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
