GATE STRUCTURE AND SEALING MEMBER USED THEREIN
To reliably prevent water leakage in a sealing member installed on a mating surface of each part of a gate structure installed in a flow channel.SOLUTION: An intermediate hood 4 is provided to cover gate doorways 2d and 3d of a sliding gate 8 with second mating surfaces 3c and 2c. A sealing member 20 is fitted into continuous grooves 10, 11, 12 formed in the first and second mating surfaces 3b and 3c, 2c. The sealing member 20 is integrally provided with an U-shaped first portion 21 that is placed on the first mating surface 3b, and frame-shaped second portions 22, 23 that are connected to the ends of the first portion 21 and are provided in the gate doorways 3d, 2d. In a vertical portion 21a of a T-shaped portion 25 where the first portion 21 and the second portions 22, 23 intersect, at a predetermined distance from the second portions 22, 23, a wider portion 24 is integrally provided, which is wider than the other portions of the first portion 21. A wide groove 13 corresponding to the wide portion 24 is provided in the groove of the first mating surface 3b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
【課題】流路に設けられるゲート構造において、ゲート構造の各部品の合わせ面に設けられるシール部材における漏水を確実に防止する。【解決手段】スライド式ゲート8のゲート用出入口2d,3dを第2合わせ面3c,2cで覆う中間ボンネット4を設け、第1合わせ面3b及び第2合わせ面3c,2cに形成された連続する溝部10,11,12にシール部材20を嵌め込む。このシール部材20を、第1合わせ面3bに配置されるU字状の第1部分21と、第1部分21の端部に連結されゲート用出入口3d,2dに設けられる枠状の第2部分22,23とを一体に設け、第1部分21と第2部分22,23とが交わるT字状部分25の垂直部分21aにおける、第2部分22,23から所定距離離れた位置には、第1部分21の他の部分よりも幅広な幅広部24を一体に設け、第1合わせ面3bの溝部には、幅広部24に対応する幅広溝部13を設ける。【選択図】図4
