To provide a recycled aggregate production system that produces high quality recycled aggregate from a waste concrete material without carrying out a complicated treatment, and a method therefor.SOLUTION: The recycled aggregate production system comprises a hopper 5 for feeding a waste material of concrete containing coarse aggregate and fine aggregate each made to have a prescribed size by a crushing pretreatment, a first vertical grinder 6 for grinding the waste material, a screen device 7 for screening the waste material sized by the first vertical grinder 6, and a second vertical grinder 8 for grinding the waste material fed thereinto, into which the waste material whose particle diameter is in a specified range, out of the waste material having been screened by the screen device 7 is fed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
