To provide a water stopping structure and a water stopping method between structures that can stop water between a concrete structure and a soil structure with a simple structure.SOLUTION: A water stopping structure for a connection between structures 2 and 3 comprises a water stopping member 4 consisting of a flexible water stopping plate 5 and a flexible water stopping sheet 6 with one end adhered to the water stopping plate 5. The water stopping plate 5 is buried across the connecting end face between the concrete structure 2 and the soil structure 3, and the water stopping sheet 6 is buried in the soil structure 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
