OVERTURNING PREVENTION DEVICE FOR STAIRS
To provide an overturning prevention device for stairs capable of preventing overturning of a walking person without requiring a body holding member to be attached to the body of the walking person when the walking person walks on stairs.SOLUTION: An overturning prevention device for stairs includes a guide member, a movable body, a gripping member, and a brake mechanism. The guide member is attached to a structure above the stairs along the inclination of the stairs. The movable body is attached to the guide member in a movable manner. The gripping member is attached to the movable body and gripped by a walking person using the stairs. The brake mechanism is provided on the movable body, and suppresses or stops the movement of the movable body with respect to the guide member according to a load applied downward to the gripping member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】階段を歩行する際に、身体保持部材の歩行者の身体への取り付けを要することなく、歩行者の転倒を防止することが可能になる階段の転倒防止装置を提供すること。【解決手段】実施形態の階段の転倒防止装置は、ガイド部材と、移動体と、把持部材と、ブレーキ機構と、を備える。ガイド部材は、階段の上方の構造物に、当該階段の傾斜に沿って取り付けられる。移動体は、ガイド部材に移動可能に取り付けられる。把持部材は、移動体に取り付けられ、階段を利用する歩行者により把持される。ブレーキ機構は、移動体に設けられ、把持部材に対し下方向へ加えられる荷重に応じて、当該移動体のガイド部材に対する移動を抑制又は停止させる。【選択図】 図１
