To provide means that prevents a shutter from being deformed and coming off as the door end side is pulled out even when affected by heat in the event of a fire and exhibits sufficient fire and smoke protection performance.SOLUTION: A horizontal pull shutter device, having a group of slats 2 located between guide rails, a stile located at the leading edge of the group of slats 2, an opening/closing device that winds and feeds the slat group, and a locking mechanism 5 at the door end side of the group of slats 2, in which locking mechanism 5 has a stile reinforcement member 51 that crosses between the guide rails to be located at the door end side of the group of slats 2, a first stopper receipt member 52 provided to the stile reinforcement member 51, a door stopper member 53 that is in opposition to the stile reinforcement member 51, a second receipt member 54 provided to the door stopper member 53, and a stopper 55 that lowers and comes into locking assemble with the first stopper receipt member 52 and the second stopper receipt member 54.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
