To provide a slider and a sliding base-isolating device equipped with the slider which can avoid idle running of the slider and separation of a constituent member of the sliding base-isolating device when lifting force acts on at an earthquake, with a simple construction as much as possible.SOLUTION: A slider 40 constituting a sliding base-isolating device 70 includes a first division slider 10 having a shear key 14, and a second division slider 20 having a key groove 24 in which the shear key 14 is stored.
