OPEN/CLOSE CONTROL SYSTEM AND OPEN/CLOSE CONTROL METHOD
To provide an opening/closing control system and an opening/closing control method for suitably controlling an opening/closing operation of an opening/closing body provided at an opening of a garage.SOLUTION: An open/close control system 10 controls an open/close operation of an open/close body provided at an opening of a garage that houses a vehicle. The open/close control system 10 comprises an estimation unit 12, a determination unit 13, and an open/close control unit 14. The estimation unit 12 estimates a target area corresponding to a movable area of the open/close body based on a captured image taken by a vehicle-mounted camera 40 of a vehicle. The determination unit 13 determines whether or not there is an object in the target area based on the captured image. The open/close control unit 14 limits the open/close operation of the open/close body according to the determination that there is the object in the target area.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
