This open-close control device comprises: a first and second electrode unit which carry out communication with a communication device for authentication; an authentication processing unit which carries out an authentication process upon the communication device for authentication on the basis of the result of the communication with the communication device for authentication; an open-close operation unit whereupon an operation is carried out with respect to a lockable open-close unit; an operation detection unit which detects an operation state of the open-close operation unit; and a control unit which, on the basis of the result of the authentication process and the result of the detection of the operation state, locks or unlocks the open-close unit.
